Professor Chandler and NIPLI’s faculty had a meeting with Honorable Ethiopian Ambassador Samuel Assefa in the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington D.C in January 2007. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the policy of protecting IPR of Ethiopian people and how African countries can get benefits from protecting their own culture, products and inventions.
