Mr. Getachew Mengistie, Director of Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office (EIPO) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, arranged a meeting with Professor Chandler through the U.S. Department of State to discuss IPR related issues on December, 2006. During the meeting, Professor gave many suggestions on how to protect Ethiopian people’s intellectual property right and how Ethiopia get benefits from IPR and improve the economy.
