The Chandler Computer Law Center provides comprehensive academic and research programs in a collegial, multidisciplinary setting for executive, high-level managers, specialists and academics dealing with computer technologies.
The Chandler Center will offer courses and conferences on all phases of computer law, including patents, copyrights, trademark, trade dress, trade secrets, contracting and licensing. The program will address transfer of all forms of computer technologies, including software, semi-conductor chips, machines, fringeware and other advanced systems.
The Center's principal program is on a comprehensive postgraduate program on computer law. In addition, core and survey courses are made available to students through Consortium study. A specialized program with a tutorial calendar will address the needs of the judiciary concerning computer law ("Judicial Tutorials"). A similar program will be developed for corporate executives ("Executive Roundtable") in conjunction with The Wathen Academy. Within the postgraduate program are planned several public-registration conferences on major computer law issues. |
